📖📚The Book Fair is next week!📖📚 The J 📖📚The Book Fair is next week!📖📚 The Joyner Book Fair will be held next Monday through Friday, 12/9-12/13. The fair will be open for parents to shop from 8am-4pm Monday- Thursday & 8am-12pm Friday. We will also be open on the evening of Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5pm-7:30pm during our Winter Concert! The kids will be bringing in spare change for the Book Buddy program this week, through Friday, Dec. 6th. The Book Buddy program ensures that every Joyner student goes home with a book. If you would like to donate to the Book Buddy program you can purchase a gift card from Literati.com (our fair # is BF-00042859). *Be sure to type Book Buddy under recipient’s name*.  Students will have an opportunity to visit the fair during school hours with their class. They will have a viewing day & a buying day. If you prefer not to send cash in with your student, you can purchase a gift card for them to use at the fair at Literati.com (BF-00042859). All gift cards can be looked up on our registers at checkout by the student’s name. Many volunteers are needed to help while the children visit the fair. If you are able to help, please sign up using the link in our bio.  This is a wonderful event at Joyner, one that the kids always love. ⭐️Odyssey of the Mind Volunteers Needed⭐️ ⭐️Odyssey of the Mind Volunteers Needed⭐️ Odyssey of the Mind is returning to Joyner this year, and we currently have 5 teams preparing for competition. For these teams to be able to compete at the regional competition (March 1st, 2025 at Wakefield High School), we must provide 3 judges and 3 volunteers for the event.  Judges must be available the entire day (March 1st) and complete Judges Training (virtually the morning of Feb. 15th).  The judges are NOT able to watch Joyner students perform. Volunteers will work a 2-3 hour shift and will be able to watch Joyner students perform.  If you can help, as either a judge or volunteer, please email Lauren Huff: laurenandbyron@gmail.com
Picture Retake Day is this coming Tuesday, Decembe Picture Retake Day is this coming Tuesday, December 3! This is offered to all students and staff who wish to have their pictures taken again or were unable to have pictures taken on our original picture day. Packages start at $13 and offer many options for personalization! ⭐️Please note that you must first purchase online (link in bio) to get personalization and/or a digital download for free in select packages. There are several options to personalize your package, including adding names, borders, and retouches.
⭐️ Mark Your Calendars ⭐️ Picture Retake D ⭐️ Mark Your Calendars ⭐️ Picture Retake Day is next Tuesday, December 3! This is the perfect opportunity for staff and students alike to have pictures taken as a redo or if they were absent on school picture day.
