Choose personalized gifts with your child’s artwork! Check your child’s backpack or Wednesday folder for artwork and ordering instructions for this year’s Original Works school fundraiser. Spring TEK clubs will run Wednesdays, April 18-May 23, after school until 4:45. Registration is on Thursday, March 22, from 8:00-8:30 in the JYJ Media Center. Registration forms should come home today in Wednesday folders.

Save the Date for Dine-Out Night and Night of Nonsense

Kindergarten Readiness and First Grade Refresher Camp

Ms. Johnson and Ms. Forbes are offering their rising kindergarten readiness camp again this year and adding a special week for rising first graders, too! Camps are half-day (9-noon) and run June 25-29July 23-27, and Aug 6-10 for rising Kinders. July 30-Aug. 3 is First Grade Refresher week. Click here to learn more and click here to download the registration form.


What Every Parent Needs to Know About Concussions: May 10

Concussions are a hot topic in sports these days, but it’s so hard to stay abreast of the recommendations. Paul Cohen, MD of WakeMed Health and Hospitals will address the most common parent and child concerns about concussions and how you can keep your child healthy and safe.
